Exam and Rapid Treatment Areas

Our unit is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and has:

  • 20 universal exam spaces
  • 3 consult spaces
  • 5 behavioral health areas
  • 6 rapid treatment spaces
  • 5 observation bays
  • One trauma room

Doctors, nurses, therapists and technicians work as a team in the ED to provide effective and efficient care for every patient, from those with minor ailments to those with more serious injuries and illnesses. Henderson Hospital maintains agreements with a variety of specialists who are available for consultation and follow-up care depending on our patients' healthcare needs.

Accredited Chest Pain Center 

Henderson Hospital has been certified by the American College of Cardiology as an accredited chest pain center with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). PCI includes procedures that treat patients who have partially or completely restricted blood flow through an artery of the heart.
