ER at Green Valley Ranch to open Fall of 2018
Henderson Hospital will open a 24-hour freestanding emergency room (ER) on the northeast corner of St. Rose Parkway and Coronado Center Drive in Fall 2018. The facility will serve as an extension of the hospital’s existing emergency department.
“In less than a year, we’ve seen the meaningful impact of our hospital on area residents,” said Sam Kaufman, CEO of Henderson Hospital. “We’re looking forward to providing the same level of access and quality health care to residents in this part of Henderson. Everyone deserves to benefit from what we’ve been able to bring to our neighbors here.”
The ER will feature eight treatment rooms with an additional three rapid medical exam rooms, advanced imaging services such as computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and X-ray, and an on-site laboratory. It will use the Cerner FirstNet electronic medical record system that is compatible with Henderson Hospital and other Valley Health System facilities, and will allow patients to access their private health information online. The ER will be staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, nursing, imaging and laboratory staff.
The ER at Green Valley Ranch is located at 2581 St. Rose Parkway and will open this fall.
